What is CHIME Technologies?
CHIME Technologies, Inc. is a newly formed, for-profit affiliate of CHIME dedicated to supporting innovative and robust products and services from the healthcare industry and facilitating the development of new, value-added services that benefit CHIME members and the industry.
Why is CHIME Technologies offering a Cooperative Member Services program?
The Cooperative Member Services program provides the opportunity for Foundation firms to strengthen existing and develop new relationships with CHIME members by offering preferential and unique industry services, packages, and price offerings. Please see the Cooperative Member Services section of the CHIME website for more benefits to Foundation firms and CHIME members.
How does the Cooperative Member Services Program work?
CHIME Foundation firms are invited to participate by providing an exclusive offering, such as a product package, special discount on services, or bundle, to CHIME members. CHIME Technologies publicizes this offering directly to CHIME members, who may elect to take advantage of the offerings, saving them time and resources. CHIME members have an additional means of learning about and partnering with CHIME Foundation firms, with the benefit of an exclusive offering only available through CHIME.
As a CHIME member, how will I know when new offerings are available and when new Foundation firms become participants in the program?
A monthly email will be sent announcing new Foundation firm participants and other program news and updates. Current offerings will exist on the Cooperative Member Services page of the CHIME website and can be accessed at any time. In addition, other CHIME collaboration and communication tools, such as myCHIME, will be used to announce offerings.
Is the Cooperative Member Services program available to all CHIME members, including Affiliate members?
All CHIME CIO members and CHIME Affiliate members in good standing may participate in and benefit from the program.
Does inclusion in the Cooperative Member Services Program constitute the endorsement or approval by CHIME of the Foundation firm’s product and/or service offerings?
CHIME Technologies’ inclusion of a Foundation firm’s product and service offerings in the Cooperative Member Services Program does not constitute or imply an endorsement, promotion, recommendation or favoring by CHIME Technologies or its affiliates. Neither CHIME Technologies nor its affiliates make any representations or warranties regarding the products or services offered by a CHIME Foundation member or have any control over, or responsibility for, the products and services offered by such CHIME Foundation member.
What role does CHIME Technologies play in the contract process between the CHIME member organization and the Foundation firm?
CHIME Technologies is not involved in the contract process. It will not enter into or negotiate any contract or facilitate any contract negotiations between the Foundation firm and the CHIME member organization. All contracts for products and services will be between the participating Foundation firm and the CHIME member organization.
What is the benefit to CHIME members?
The benefits to CHIME members are special pricing and unique packages available ONLY through CHIME Cooperative Member Services. This program brings products and packages from leading technology vendors and service providers to one location with preferred pricing and packages already available for interested members.
