What is CHIME Technologies?
CHIME Technologies, Inc. is a newly formed, for-profit affiliate of CHIME dedicated to supporting innovative and robust products and services from the healthcare industry and facilitating the development of new, value-added services that benefit CHIME members and the industry.
Why is CHIME Technologies offering a Cooperative Member Services program?
The Cooperative Member Services program provides the opportunity for Foundation firms to strengthen existing and develop new relationships with CHIME members by offering preferential and unique industry services, packages, and price offerings. Please see the Cooperative Member Services section of the website for more benefits to Foundation firms and members.
How does the Cooperative Member Services program work?
CHIME, AEHIS, AEHIT and AEHIA Foundation firms are invited to participate by providing an exclusive offering, such as a product package, special discount on services, or bundle, to CHIME, AEHIS, AEHIT and AEHIA members. CHIME Technologies publicizes this offering directly to members, who may elect to take advantage of the offerings, saving them time and resources. Members have an additional means of learning about and partnering with Foundation firms, with the benefit of an exclusive offering only available through their membership.
Is the Cooperative Member Services program available to all CHIME, AEHIS, AEHIT and AEHIA Foundation firms?
All CHIME, AEHIS, AEHIT, and AEHIA Foundation members, including Affiliate-level subscribers, are invited to participate.
Is the Cooperative Member Services program available to all CHIME, AEHIS, AEHIT and AEHIA members, including Affiliate members?
All CHIME, AEHIS, AEHIT and AEHIA members and CHIME Affiliate members in good standing may participate in and benefit from the program.
I have a product or service that I want to offer members. How do I get started?
Visit the Cooperative Member Services page under CHIME Technologies on the CHIME website and follow the steps to submit an inquiry. You may also email chimetech@chimecentral to get started. A member of CHIME Technologies staff will contact you to discuss your idea.
Does inclusion in the Cooperative Member Services Program constitute the endorsement or approval by CHIME, AEHIS, AEHIT, or AEHIA of the Foundation firm’s product and/or service offerings?
CHIME Technologies’ inclusion of a Foundation firm’s product and service offerings in the Cooperative Member Services Program does not constitute or imply an endorsement, promotion, recommendation or favoring by CHIME Technologies or its affiliates. Neither CHIME Technologies nor its affiliates make any representations or warranties regarding the products or services offered by a Foundation member or have any control over, or responsibility for, the products and services offered by such Foundation member.
What role does CHIME Technologies play in the contract process between the member organization and the Foundation firm?
CHIME Technologies is not involved in the contract process. It will not facilitate, negotiate or execute any contract between the Foundation firm and the member organization. All contracts for products and services will be between the participating Foundation firm and the member organization.
I am not currently a CHIME, AEHIS, AEHIT, or AEHIA Foundation member but I’m interested in becoming one. Who should I contact?
Please visit the Foundation page of the CHIME website for information on becoming a Foundation firm.
Does participating in the Cooperative Member Services program guarantee a certain number of new contracts with members?
While CHIME Technologies cannot guarantee a certain number of new contracts, this program does provide an opportunity for Foundation firms to publicize its exclusive offerings directly to members.
Will other Foundation firms be able to offer similar products and services through the program?
Since all Foundation firms are eligible to participate, this is not an exclusive program between CHIME Technologies and any one Foundation firm. CHIME Technologies may enter into similar arrangements with other members or third parties with respect to products and/or services that may be similar to the products and/or services of a Foundation firm.
Is there a fee for Foundation firms to participate?
There is a subscription fee associated with the program. For a 12-month subscription, the cost is $6,000. A 3-month subscription is also available for $3,000. This short term option is designed primarily for Foundation firms who want to test the market with new offerings or have other exigent business needs.
What does the subscription fee cover or provide?
These fees cover establishing the Foundation firm in the program, publication activities, program maintenance and monitoring, and management.
As a Foundation Firm, how do I determine my offering? Will CHIME Tech help with that?
CHIME Technologies, Inc. provides basic guidelines and recommendations to Foundation firms wishing to participate in the program, but the selection and decision of the offering is up to the individual Foundation firm. For the 12-month subscription, offerings may be modified twice within the year. No changes are allowed for the 3-month option.
