The FBI is the lead federal agency for investigating cyber-attacks and intrusions. They collect and share intelligence and engage with victims while working to unmask those committing malicious cyber activities, wherever they are.
For Healthcare Organizations, working with the FBI before, during and after a cyber incident can be an important part of protecting your organization at critical time.
NOTE – Organizations may engage many government and private-sector resources relating to cyber threats/vulnerabilities and cyber-attacks. This informational bulletin discusses how to work with the FBI.
Establish a relationship with the FBI now:
• Explore all the ways that the FBI works with individual businesses
• Meet with your local FBI Field Office and build a relationship
• Monitor official information from the FBI
• Determine how you will engage the FBI during an incident and make a plan
Contact the FBI during an incident:
• Report the incident immediately at the FBI Internet Crime Complaint Center
• Leverage FBI resources, locally and nationally, according to your plan.

Infraguard Industry Partnership
InfraGard is a partnership between the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and members of the private sector for the protection of U.S. Critical Infrastructure. Through seamless collaboration, InfraGard connects owners and operators within critical infrastructure to the FBI, to provide education, information sharing, networking, and workshops on emerging technologies and threats.
