Ellit Groups Appoints Chris Barbee as Chief Financial Officer

Spring, TX (October 15, 2024) - Ellit Groups, a leading healthcare IT consulting firm, is thrilled to announce the appointment of Chris Barbee as its new Chief Financial Officer

(CFO). With over two decades of strategic financial leadership across public and private equity- owned companies in the healthcare, software, and higher education sectors, Barbee is set to play a pivotal role as Ellit Groups continues to scale its operations.

In his role as CFO, Barbee will be instrumental in shaping Ellit Groups' financial strategy, overseeing all financial operations, and collaborating closely with the executive team to drive company growth, innovation, and success.

Barbee most recently served as CFO at Terra Dotta, LLC, where he provided strategic financial oversight for the private equity-owned software company in the higher education market. Prior to Terra Dotta, he held CFO positions at Revco Solutions, Inc. and Medfusion, Inc., where he led initiatives that enhanced financial operations and supported successful company growth. His extensive background also includes senior finance roles at Quintiles (now IQVIA), and SciQuest, Inc., and he began his career as an auditor with PricewaterhouseCoopers.

Barbee earned a Master of Accounting and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in North Carolina.
