Impact Advisors Managing Partner and Co-Founder Andy Smith Honored with CHIME Foundation Industry Leader Award

Ann Arbor, MI, November 19, 2024 – The College of Healthcare Information Management Executives (CHIME) proudly recognized Andy Smith, Managing Partner and Co-Founder of Impact Advisors, as the recipient of the 2024 CHIME Foundation Industry Leader Award. The prestigious award honors an individual who has demonstrated consistent dedication and made outstanding contributions to the healthcare IT industry, CHIME and the CHIME Foundation.

Andy has dedicated his 30-year career to the healthcare industry. He is a CHIME Foundation Certified Healthcare Executive, a member of the CHIME Opioid Task Force, and previously served as Chair of the Education Committee. Andy has worked closely with the Task Force to help overcome the compounding damage caused by the opioid epidemic in our communities. Through education and programs that initiate more healthcare IT involvement, Andy has strived to identify and prioritize solutions that directly aid in the fight against the opioid crisis. He most recently served as the Board Chairman for the Gateway Charitable Foundation, a non-profit organization that provides treatment for substance use disorders and mental health conditions.

Throughout his career, Andy has worked to develop and implement information systems, services and strategic plans that were designed to improve the healthcare sector and those it serves. As Co-Founder of Impact Advisors, he and his team have delivered technology solutions to hundreds of clients that directly support their patients, families and caregivers. Through these efforts, the firm has added value, enhanced functionality, reduced costs, improved experiences and ultimately saved lives. Additionally, Andy has focused on creating a culture that empowers colleagues (known as “Winners”) to positively impact their clients and build meaningful relationships in the communities they serve.
