Creating Strategic Outsourced Partnerships: Earning Trust & Gaining Credibility with an Increased Service Reliability.
In 2015, Encompass Health Corporation’s (EHC) Information Technology Group (ITG) assumed the additional responsibility for managed print services for the company’s inventory of 121 Inpatient Rehabilitation Hospitals across the US.The decentralized model failed to leverage enterprise spend, provided little visibility into print costs and led to reliability and availability issues that were extremely frustrating for caregivers and employees. This collaboration has been the driving force of success to the continued EHC/FlexPrint partnership in supporting EHC’s commitment to deliver high quality, cost effective, integrated care across the healthcare continuum.
The development of strategic sourcing partnership to improve an IT service model that would enable our hospital’s staffs to access and produce the necessary information needed to deliver value and care to patients.
