Managing Patient Populations Virtually and Leveraging Data to Drive Productivity
Over 40% of Americans suffer from at least one chronic disease. Numerous patients cancelled specialty services as a result of the pandemic and are reluctant to come back. Virtual care can assist providers in connecting with and treating these patients. Virtual care increases patients’ access to care, monitors patient lifestyle changes, triages new symptoms in real-time, and supports care plan adherence.
Virtual care also results in a tremendous data set that can enable us to identify ways to both optimize care delivery and reduce the resources consumed to deliver that care. While enabling virtual care is a necessity, the progressive organizations are focused on capturing the larger potential on how more real-time, discrete data sets will enable transformation of their delivery models.
In this focus group, Leidos experts will facilitate an interactive discussion on how this shift will advance the productivity frontier and impact care delivery for chronic care patients, episodic care patients, and beyond.
