What roles do (or should) CIOs play in driving digital front door initiatives?
*THIS EVENT IS FULL*
The results from the third annual Patient Access Journey Report indicate that the demand for robust, convenient, and self-service search and booking options continues to rise across all U.S. geographies and generations. In fact, more than 50% of consumers who prefer online booking would switch providers for the option. It’s clear that health systems must deliver a more “customer-centric” approach that both meets patients where they are and weaves together multiple points of access to capture patient demand. In this focus group we would like to understand how CIOs are participating and prioritizing patient access initiatives and making decisions about the technology that will enable the health systems’ digital front door.
1. How involved are CIOs currently in their health systems’ patient access and engagement initiatives?
2. What are the largest challenges CIOs face when supporting patient access initiatives and how are they overcoming them?
3. How are CIOs engaging with other members of the C-Suite to accomplish digital front door objectives?
