You don’t have to be Google: 3 pillars healthcare innovators use to foster success
*This event is full*
There is a clear sense of urgency to drive innovation in healthcare fueled by consumerism, data analytics, technology advances and rapidly changing delivery financing and delivery modes. In fact, 94% of healthcare CIOs responding to a 2018 Harvey Nash / KPMG poll believe it’s important to build an innovative, experimental culture to ensure a successful digital strategy.
The good news is, you don’t have to be Google to innovate. However, as leaders you must understand the components that influence an organization’s capacity to innovate and be prepared to think about and address challenges and opportunities to fit your organization.
During this focus group we will share findings from our industry research on the 3 “pillars” that have positioned organizations to be highly innovative. We’ll share specific examples and discuss common challenges and how to address them to build a solid foundation to support your innovation journey. We’ll also discuss the many tools and frameworks available to support innovation efforts and how to position your organization to successfully leverage them to foster and drive innovation, regardless of organizational size and funding/resources.
1. Discuss common foundational pillars shared by highly innovative organizations and how they apply to healthcare organizations of varying size, maturity and market.
2. Discuss challenges and strategies to leverage when building and strengthening these foundational pillars.
3. Identify strategies to spark and sustain innovation within your organization.
