CHIME is at the forefront of healthcare IT leadership and education.
Whether you prefer to learn from your desk or face-to-face with your peers, you will find a program to meet your professional development needs. Featuring a blend of online sessions, faculty-led courses and executive-level presentations, CHIME’s educational opportunities focus exclusively on what you need to become a better healthcare CIO.
CHIME holds two members-only CIO Forums every year. The CHIME CIO Forums combine the best speakers and healthcare IT educators with unparalleled opportunities to network with peers and collectively share solutions, solve problems and address challenges.
Prepare to get your hands dirty. The Healthcare CIO Boot Camp is an intensive three and one-half day education program offered by CHIME and taught by a faculty of healthcare CIO thought leaders. Combining presentations, small group discussions, case studies and interactive problem solving, participants learn the real-world skills necessary to become a successful healthcare CIO.
Participation in the Boot Camp is currently limited to members of CHIME, AEHIS, AEHIT, and AEHIA, and their direct reports (including Affiliates). CHIME Foundation representatives are not eligible to attend. Questions about eligibility? We can help! Please contact the CHIME office for assistance at 734.665.0000 or[email protected] prior to registering.
Could you and your staff use some more education without having to leave the office?
College LIVE education sessions are interactive workshops and training sessions focused on healthcare IT and executive issues. Free to all of our members (and their staff), these sessions are also archived so you can access them any time, anywhere.
Click here for a list of upcoming sessions available to CHIME members and their staff.
There are more than 100 archived sessions available.
These one hour online sessions provide a comfortable atmosphere (not a vendor sales pitch) where your thoughts/opinions/advice on a particular healthcare IT relevant topic can be shared with other c-suite executives. It is your influential guidance that our Foundation firms are seeking so that they can best produce products and services which are responsive to the needs of the industry.
Online Focus Groups are another example of CHIME’s quality standard for delivering pertinent education, while fostering a mutually beneficial learning experience, over the Internet via WebEx.
