The CHIME Executive Education series has been crafted to provide CIO Boot Camp graduates and experienced CIOs to come together in a seminar environment through intense collaborative learning. In this series, attendees learn through multiple case studies from experienced faculty as well as a master case representing a current problem they face in their organization today.
The series is held at the CHIME Intermountain Innovation Center and leverages advanced presentation and participation technologies to enhance the learning environment. Study teams of 3-5 attendees work with an experienced IT executive serving as a Faculty coach over the course of three days.
This version of the series focuses on Healthcare IT Operational Excellence. Content areas include: Developing a team for Digital Age Operations, Creating a Highly Reliable Operational Structure, and Incorporating a Culture of Improvement. Attendance is limited to 20 leaders in order to support a rapid learning environment and deep education experience. Participation in the series is currently limited to members of CHIME, AEHIS, AEHIT, and AEHIA, and their direct reports (including Affiliates). CHIME Foundation representatives are not eligible to attend.
Attendees are eligible to earn up to 16 CEUs.

The June 2020 Executive Series programs will be held at the CHIME/Intermountain Innovation Center in Murray, Utah.
A block of rooms has been reserved for the attendees of this program at the Residence Inn, very near to the Innovation Center in Murray, Utah.

To secure the discounted room rate of $129.00 (single/double) per night, you may book your hotel reservations online. Or telephone the hotel reservations department at 801-262-4200 to make your reservation. Currently additional charges include room tax of 13.37%.
The reservation cut-off is May 12, 2020. Reservations received after the cut-off will be on a space-available basis only. Rooms fill QUICKLY be sure to make your reservations EARLY!
Cancellation: Should you need to cancel your reservation, you must do so no later than the 1 week prior to date of your arrival. Due to the low rate offered hotel cancellations received after this date will be accessed a full penalty for the entire reservation.

The Residence Inn is located approximately 13 miles or a 15-minute drive from Salt Lake City International Airport.
Registration fees and payment:
The early registration fee for this session is $2,595.00. Due the highly interactive nature of this program, space is limited to a maximum of 20 participants.
The standard registration fee of $2,995.00 will go into effect on May 4, 2020.
The registration fee includes all program materials as well as all networking events.
Registrants who cancel before May 4, 2020 will be issued a full refund of their registration fees. Registrants who cancel on or after May 4 and before May 18, 2020 will be assessed a $1,000 non-refundable cancellation fee.
Due to the limited capacity of this program, no refunds will be made for cancellations received on or after May 18, 2020.

Faculty will develop a survey with the key areas CIOs spend their time. Participants will fill it out and create a pie chart showing the percentage of time they spend in each area. Discussion will center around what keeps participants stuck in operations and how to free up more time for innovation and executive leadership.
