Baptist Health And Nemours Children’s Health, Jacksonville Join Forces To Discuss Collaboration In Healthcare It Delivery
Jacksonville, Fla. – Baptist Health and Nemours Children’s Health, Jacksonville teamed up recently to discuss the ways they are working together to better support the work they do for the benefit of the young patients they serve at Nemours Children’s Health, Jacksonville and Wolfson Children’s Hospital. Leaders from both organizations convened for Bridging IT Together, an event designed to strengthen their partnership by addressing operational opportunities for greater alignment. Hosted by iMethods, a premier healthcare IT solutions and staffing firm in Jacksonville, the event underscored the health systems’ shared commitment to enhancing patient outcomes, optimizing workflows and driving innovation.
“In today’s rapidly evolving healthcare landscape, collaboration across organizations is not just an opportunity—it’s a necessity,” said Aaron Miri, MBA, FCHIME, CHCIO, SVP and Chief Digital and Information Officer at Baptist Health. “By harnessing the power of technology and IT solutions, we can collectively address complex healthcare challenges, improve patient outcomes, and drive efficiency across our organizations.”
Bernie Rice, Chief Information Officer at Nemours Children’s Health, underscored the ongoing synergy between the two organizations, “The collaboration between our two IT teams showcases our commitment in leveraging technology to improve healthcare delivery, patient care and operations with innovative solutions.”
iMethods – a Jacksonville-based solutions and staffing – hosted the event as the organization recognizes the importance of an integrated approach to delivering exceptional care in the Jacksonville area, "It has truly been an honor to support both of these organizations over the years and serve as a bridge between them on mission critical projects for the patients in our communities,” said iMethods CEO Clint Drawdy.
As part of their commitment to fostering community engagement, Nemours Children’s and Baptist Health came together to participate in a community event with Rethreaded, a Jacksonville-based nonprofit dedicated to empowering survivors of human trafficking. The event brought staff, families and the community to support Rethreaded’s mission through hands-on activities and shared efforts to create lasting impact.
