CHIME Collaboration Award

The Collaboration Award celebrates the joint efforts of a CHIME Foundation firm and a CHIME member, recognizing the power of partnership in driving healthcare innovation. This prestigious award honors both the Foundation Firm and digital health leaders who have worked together to deliver impactful solutions.

Eligibility

The recipient must be a CHIME member with a minimum of three years of membership (cannot be a current CHIME Board Member)

Criteria

Necessary background information about the collaborative effort must be included. This information may consist of the challenges and barriers faced; the conclusion or outcomes achieved; the recommendation(s) that could be offered; and the collaborative strategies utilized. It is strongly suggested that quantifiable measurements be included (financial ROI, employee time saved, etc.). All entries should include a two paragraph executive summary, and be limited to no more than 10 pages total.

Documentation

The CHIME Awards Committee will review all entries and select the winning paper based upon a 100-point scale. Points will be awarded in each of the following categories:

  • Collaboration (0-50 Points):__ What level of collaboration was achieved between the Provider Member and Foundation Firm? For example, does the document describe/outline a collaborative process that contributed greatly to the outcome of the project or initiative? Or could be emulated by other digital health leaders with their vendor firms?

  • There should also be an explanation of how this collaborative effort is different than a normal business relationship.

  • Healthcare Business Success (0-30 Points): To what extent could the effort contribute and influence healthcare business success? In other words, does the paper consist of practical and employable strategies that can be used by the general digital health community to achieve greater business success? What specific, measurable results has the collaboration achieved at the CHIME member’s organization?

  • Originality (0-20 points): How original is the idea, i.e., does it provide an innovative solution to a problem? Does it demonstrate a creative hypothesis or provide groundbreaking research results?
