Foundation Industry Leader Award

The CHIME Foundation Industry Leader Award honors an individual who has shown remarkable dedication and made a lasting impact on the healthcare IT industry, CHIME, and the CHIME Foundation. This award celebrates those who have gone above and beyond in driving innovation and supporting the healthcare community, setting a standard of excellence for others to follow.

Eligibility

All nominees for the award must be currently employed by or retired from a CHIME Foundation Firm. Nominations can be submitted by another CHIME Foundation representative, a CHIME member, or an employee of the organization where the nominee works. Self-nominations are also welcome through the application process.

Recipients of the Industry Leader Award (ILA) will receive complimentary registration to CHIME Fall Forum, provided they are a representative of a current CHIME Foundation Firm. This registration, which is equivalent to that of a CHIME member, will not be counted toward the Foundation firm’s registration allotment. Should the recipient retire, the registration remains valid, but it becomes void if the recipient changes employment to a non-CHIME Foundation member organization.

Criteria

  1. 20+ years of positive, long-lasting impact/influence/involvement within the healthcare IT industry.
  2. 5+ years of membership and involvement within CHIME and/or the CHIME Foundation.
  3. Evidence of a career-long performance record of multiple quality achievements as a contributor within the healthcare IT industry.
  4. Evidence of substantive, measurable impact and/or benefits as a result of this individual’s contributions.
