Date

Wed, Feb 5, 2025, 06:00 AM

Hosted by Chartis

Enthusiasm for ‘healthcare consumerism’ and ‘consumer-centered care’ has existed for years with a lot of good intention. . .but with limited focus on how prioritized digital consumer experience improvement initiatives can result in meaningful and tangible benefits to the health system. Now, with ever-increasing margin constraints, an aging population with higher utilization and unfavorable payer mix, intense competition from new entrants and legacy systems alike, and continuously rising consumer expectations, health systems must take a hard look at how digital consumer experience efforts can counter these prevailing trends. The CIO and Chief Digital Officer plays a pivotal role in helping health systems understand how digital technologies can drive real value to the enterprise while supporting the mission of creating and nurturing seamless consumer experiences.

Session learning objectives:

  1. Review imperatives driving the need to enhance consumer experiences
  2. Explore how consumer experiences can create value for health systems
  3. Understand an approach to driving value to health systems through consumer experience initiatives
